Oakleigh Meadow Cohousing to host creative afternoon of storytelling

A free creative afternoon for families will be hosted by Oakleigh Meadow Cohousing Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. at Hilyard Community Center. Children accompanied by adults and "children at heart" are invited to a participatory program featuring Eugene poet and storyteller Kelly Terwilliger and musician David Adee.

For the past 13 years, Terwilliger has been inspiring, intriguing and delighting listeners of all ages in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, libraries, parks, community centers, art galleries, and Scottish pubs. She tells tales from around the world, incorporating hats and a touch of music.

Adee is a Eugene School District music teacher.

The event is from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Hilyard Community Center, 2580 Hilyard St., Eugene. Children must be accompanied by adults.
